Npower is a government-led initiative in Nigeria that aims to address unemployment and empower young graduates with skills and knowledge for economic development. It is one of the programs under the National Social Investment Program (NSIP) introduced by the Nigerian government to tackle poverty and improve the livelihoods of its citizens.
The Npower program provides various training and job opportunities in sectors such as education, agriculture, health, and technology. It targets unemployed graduates and non-graduates, offering them skill development and job placements for a specific duration.
The program has different components, including Npower Teach, Npower Agro, Npower Health, Npower Tech, and Npower Build. Participants receive monthly stipends during their engagement, allowing them to gain valuable work experience and contribute to their communities.
