Early Life and Education

Jimmy Odukoya was born on April 27 in Lagos State, Nigeria to Pastor Taiwo and Bimbo Odukoya, who died in the infamous 2005 Sosoliso plane crash. He has two female siblings from his deceased mother and two male siblings from his now-dead stepmother, Nomthi Odukoya, whom his father married in 2010. Jimmy has four siblings in total.

He had his primary and secondary education in Lagos State, Nigeria before moving to the United States of America where he bagged his first degree in Business Administration (advertising minor) from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma and later an MBA in Business Administration from the same school.

Career

He grew up being active in the church activities where he began singing in the church choir. His love for God and the church grew continually with age.
He moved to America in 2002 where he lived for 8 years.

Pastor J as fondly called had lived in Tulsa, Oklahoma where he became very active in Greenwood Christian Center under Bishop Gary and Debie McIntosh. He was of assistance to the development of the church and also became a major key player in the growth of the ministry’s college called B.I.O (Bring It On).
Jimmy earned his ministerial license in the early 2009. The same year, he was also ordained pastor at Fountain of Life Church and when he moved back in 2010, he was made the Assistant pastor of Church 3:16.
He came through in acting with his first role in the movie “Baby Shower” as produced by Desmond Elliot.

Odukoya was born and brought up in Lagos, Nigeria by his devoted, loving, and caring parents. His parents are Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, a popular cleric in Nigeria, and his mother late Pastor Bimbo Odukoya, who died in the popular Sosoliso plane crash in 2005. Jimmy Odukoya has four siblings, two females from his late mother and two males from his now late stepmother Nomthi Odukoya who his father married in 2010.

Odukoya is happily married to his devoted wife Kemi Odukoya who is a London-raised English graduate of Oluwakemi Folashade Banjoko. The couple exchanged their vows in London on March 9, 2013, and their union is blessed with two kids, a boy, and a girl.
