As Jamb is about to open UTME/DE Registration 2024 Portal, and as we are all aware that NIN is mandatory for each and every prospective candidate for generating a profile code, I would like to advise all parents and guidance especially those children that have gotten their NIN when they are below the ages of 16 (Minos) and now they are in SS3 and have attained the age of 16 years and above, that they should take their children to any of the Nimc offices nearest to them and do Data Migration from Minor to Adult.
While doing that they should also do SIM Registration with any of the available GSM mobile lines and present it during the NIN Migration.
During initial NIN Registration, the child’s NIN was tied to his parent’s or guidance NIN and now that he or she has attained the age of 16 and qualifies for migration to adult registration the new phone number that was registered for him will be modified to replace the one for the parent that he/she was originally registered with during Minos Registration.
With these processes the child will not have problems in getting Jamb Profile Code during registration.
