N-Power Speaks on Possible Recruitment and Pending Payments

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja – N-Power, a program of the APC government, has denied reports of new recruitments.

The scheme, which was launched in 2016 by President Buhari’s administration under the NSIPs (National Social Investment Programmes), seeks to empower young people.

Beware of fake news: N-Power

While the programme is considered one of the administration’s greatest success stories, current Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction Betta Edu has accused the programme of numerous irregularities and suspended the scheme.

Although N-Power’s official Twitter handle has recently been changed to X, the company said that real-time information on outstanding payments and portal issues will be shared through the official channels of the government’s social investment programmes for job creation and empowerment.

N-Power’s tweet reads:

“Hello Beneficiaries!!!

“It has come to our notice that lots of fake news has been in circulation.

“Please note that we will be the first to notify you on any update with regards to possible recruitment, pending payments and portal-related issues.”
